The HRPOC-South partners with Campus Human Resources - Employee & Labor Relations and provides assistance in the following:
- Consultation and interpretation of policy and collective bargaining agreements
- Progressive disciplinary process and grievance responses
- Background check clearance
- Layoff coordination
- Response to subpoenas requests
- Response to union information requests
- Representation in employee disputes/grievance proceedings
- Mediates resolution of complaints with employee representatives
- Training supervisors and managers on best practicee in areas of performance management, discipline, grievance handling and other ER/LR matters
